The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.” – Richard Bach

Like any massage for adult or senior citizens, infant massage do have its own set of benefits. Not only it benefits the recipient of the massage (the baby in this case) but also the giver (the parent, the caregiver, the families).

Both research and anecdotal evidence from families have shown that there are many ways that babies and families may benefit from infant massage. They can be grouped into four categories: Interaction, Stimulation, Relief and Relaxation (Quoted from https://iaim.net/massage-your-baby/benefits/)

Interaction in Infant Massage May Include:

– Feelings of love, respect, and being valued

Each Massage May Stimulate:

– Hormonal and immune systems
– Coordination and balance
– Learning and concentration
– Muscular development and growth
– Mind and body awareness

Parents May Find that Infant Massage Helps Relieve:
