These are some of the other method that one can consider to assist with men sexual health dysfunctions, if you don’t wish to use manhood therapy.
Note: I am not endorsing or vouching for any of the method below. This is simply to provide information to readers on what is available out there in the market. Result may varies from individual to individual.
a). Supplement – There are plenty of men’s health supplement (local and international brands) available in the pharmacy or marketplace that claims can assist with erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. My advise is please get those with Ministry of Health endorsement to prevent counterfeit products.
b). Shockwave Therapy – A non invasive treatment by using low frequency but high energy acoustic waves (not literally zapping you with electricity) to targeted area to stimulates healing by creating controlled microtrauma. It promotes increased blood flow and cellular repair. A method originated in the 80s for breaking down kidney stones, now it is commonly used to treat many different type of musculoskeletal injuries.
c). Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy – also known as P-shot, this method uses your own platelet rich plasma (a concentrated blood extract) and inject into the penis to promote tissue growth and possibly gives a better erection.
d). Surgery and implant – which gives artificial lengthening and thickening of the penis. May also be used to counter Peyronie’s disease in the chronic cases.
e). Penile Traction Therapy – by using a non-surgical medical apparatus designed to apply a continuous but gentle stretching to the penis. Based on the principle of cytokinesis in which tissue responding to consistent, gentle tension by creating new cells.
f). Medication – by using medicine available in the market e.g. Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis.
Caution: Please take as per prescription by certified medical personnel.
g). Hormone Therapy – for those with hypogonadism which can affect sexual development and fertility. However, this must be done with proper consultation with doctor as there are contraindication to this therapy e.g. if you do have prostate cancer, you had heart attack / stroke prior, sleep apnea etc
Of course, there are also the good old methods by eating healthily, having good lifestyle (with no smoking) and exercising.
