Earlier this month, surface police report of patron who had signed up for spa packages but service was not rendered . It was one of the prominent spa chains that has 28 outlets, mainly in Johor with a few outlets around peninsular Malaysia, though the name was not mentioned.

Fast forward two weeks later, it has already gotten more than 100 police reports filed. Though the initial business intention may not be for scam but then how it turns out to be at the end is definitely a form of cheat.

Hope the authority can get to the bottom of this. Meanwhile, Johor MCA has set up a hotline at 011-62515678 to provide assistance to other victims of the spa and wellness business.
