Intro:
– This brand (only take in male customer) is located opposite Cheras Leisure Mall and not inside the mall itself. So don’t repeat the same mistakes that I did. I was searching inside the mall itself. You can park at inside mall since this area is hard to find parking.

– As soon as I reach the correct place, the deco at the front facade is very cozy and welcoming. Even the staff handling the reception are also very friendly. They primarily speak Mandarin. The therapist can speak a bit of English as they are not local.

– What I like about this outlet is having a room on its own which gives privacy.

– I can choose my oil between lavender, lemongrass and ginger in which I don’t feel much of a difference (can’t really smell it). I was served a cup of tea, soon after I chose my oil.

Sequence:
– On prone: Without oil, general compression from bottom to top. Compared to other massage sessions, this sequence is quite long. The therapist was very slow and steady which feels superbly comfortable.  In fact, I feel the therapist’s strength is on non-oil massage than with oil.
With oil, the therapist started on my back then the leg.

– On supine, he started from leg to chest / stomach. Very simple routine.

Technique:
– Without oil, he used mainly palm compression and acupressure. As I mentioned, this portion was very well done. He knows very well how to work on all different parts of the body. There were a certain amount of petrissage and tapotement too.

– With oil, I feel this is a missed opportunity for the therapist to be a “great” therapist instead of just “good”. I really wasn’t expecting his oil techniques to be primarily palm ironing and thumb upstroke. It is ala urutan kampung technique but when it is done for a long time, it is not too relaxing. That also, sometimes the stroke direction changes as possibly he is tired and changed the way his body is angled.  When it is compared to what I experienced with the non oil techniques, this feels very underwhelming and to a certain extent, a bit disappointing as I was really looking forward to his capability since he did very well in the first part.

– Oil wiping technique is very basic which is another missed opportunity.

Additional notes:
– The massage table is quite comfortable but it is creaky especially when the therapist uses his body weight to press on me.
– The face cloth used has a bit of a musty smell.
– I like the whole ambiance. It feels very homely.

Pros:
– The affordable price with the nice environment.
– The non oil technique is thorough, done with great care and technique.

Cons:
– Like I said earlier, it is a missed opportunity with the oil technique. The therapist has a lot of potential though, just needs the right training.
